Because of the way the show plays out with a constantly changing cast and guest actors etc storylines don’t drag, and that is why the killer storyline doesn’t feel so forced compared to most soaps. Next week the truth about what happened and who killed Lisa is revealed.
Karen drops Ella off to school, failing to get more information about her or Tom. Ella waits for Karen to leave and heads off, away from the school. Karen gets a call from the school to say Ella didn’t turn up and calls Rob, worried something’s happened to her. Rob advises her to check the tracking app they have for the kids and Karen is taken aback to discover Ella’s gone back to her home.
Karen informs Rob and heads to the house. Ella admits that Tom forbade her to talk about her mum but Ella needs to and leads Karen out to the garden where she searches desperately for something hidden.
Events unfold and reveal exactly what transpired and who is the killer. Is it Tom, Ella, Simon or was there another person involved when things turned nasty?….
Rob leaves Tom at the Mill for his session with Jimmi, worried for the boy. Jimmi is surprised when Tom seems to want to talk about the incident with Karen. Jimmi tries to get Tom to open up but feels he’s getting nowhere. When Tom suggests he’d do anything to protect Ella, Jimmi wonders how far Tom might take that. Jimmi brings up what happened to his mum, suggesting she was the victim and Tom, immediately angered, insists Lisa was to blame – she drank too much and got what she deserved. Jimmi’s thrown at Tom’s anger.
When Tom reveals his dad didn’t kill his mum, Jimmi’s stunned.
