Emmerdale spoilers: Monday 19 – Friday 23 April 2021

Rishi’s excited about his birthday and Manpreet’s taken aback when nervous Ethan asks her to go with him to see his mum. However, Ethan’s disappointed when his mum doesn’t turn up and Manpreet tells him not to give up. There’s a thawing in their relationship as Ethan tells her the one positive from today is getting to know her again. Later, at Rishi’s party, Ethan and Manpreet are uncomfortable as they make excuses as to why they’ve arrived at the celebrations together. Ethan texts his mum, asking why she didn’t turn up.

Nate’s guilty when Tracy gives David the family photo shoot voucher, explaining she doesn’t want to go on her own. Seeing her disappointment, Nate insists he’ll get his work done quickly so they can go as a family. As he tries to get David’s attention, David accidentally runs over Nate’s foot. Nate’s in agony and Tracy takes him to hospital. Later, David enters, showing Tracy a photo of him and Theo in matching outfits and apologising for unknowingly injuring Nate.

Vinny feels guilty about moving back in with Liv.

Tuesday 20 April 2021 7.00pm – 7.30pm

Ethan looks hurt when he receives a text from what appears to be his Mum, so Meena sends Manpreet over to comfort him. He shares with her that his ‘Mum’ has told him she doesn’t want to get to know him.

Mandy is starting to sort through Paul’s possessions while Lydia and Sam are off to the bank to try and prove that Lydia’s credit card debts were incurred fraudulently by Paul but it doesn’t go well. Mandy goes cap-in-hand to newly flush Charity seeking a bailout for Paul’s funeral, but Charity plays hardball and instead offers to buy the salon from her. Later, Vinny studies a notebook he found amongst Paul’s things, whilst Mandy, Lydia and Sam all head to the Woolie to brainstorm ways to pay off the credit card debt. When Liv turns up at the Dingles’, Vinny tells her that the notebook is a comprehensive account of Paul’s winnings and losses. It also contains inside info on future tips. Liv thinks she’s persuaded Vinny to turn the page on Paul, but when she leaves he logs into a gambling website…

Chas and Marlon are struggling with the Woolie finances.

Wednesday 21 April 2021 7.00pm – 7.30pm

Charles asks Manpreet if she knows what’s bothering Ethan, but she doesn’t give anything away. Manpreet encourages Ethan to tell his Dad about the search for his Mum, but asks that she be kept out of the conversation.

Nicola and an over-confident Mackenzie are discussing a covert meeting they’re planning on having at Butlers when they clock a suspicious Mandy listening in. Vinny guiltily places a secret bet., but Mandy walks in on an enthralled Vinny watching the end of the race. His bet was a winner but Mandy’s worried that he’ll end up like his Dad. A plan forms in her head to take the responsibility for their situation off Vinny’s shoulders. Mandy pays Mack a visit at Butlers. She knows he’s up to something and threatens to blow the whistle unless he cuts her in. Mack’s left rattled as he realises determined Mandy won’t take no for an answer.

Cathy uses April to get close to Ellis. Ellis flirts with Priya and gazes after her hopefully. Later, April puts a note in a bag of Ellis’s favourite sweets. When he gets home she tells them they were left by the front door. When Ellis reads the accompanying romantic note he dares to hope it came from Priya…

Chas and Marlon realise they have to let Matty go but Will Marlon struggle to front up to Matty?

Thursday 22 April 2021 7.00pm – 7.30pm

Nate’s injury is stopping him from helping out as much with Frankie and Tracy feels increasingly under strain. Later, Tracy finds a worrying lump on baby Frankie’s tummy and is choked with worry as she heads to the Doctors to have it diagnosed.

Ellis confronts Priya about the sweets as Cathy and April listen-in. Will there be a few red faces?

Mandy and Mack meet with Kev and soon Mandy’s actions leave them both in grave danger..

Vinny asks Lydia to be his counsellor.
