Al helps a local councillor try to reconnect with his estranged, grieving teenage son.
Local councillor Ade Holland arrives home with his teenage son Ryan Holland. Ryan has come to live with Ade because his mum has died.
At The Mill Al sees Jackie Wilkins (Susie Riddell) who asks about her missing teenage daughter.
Later, We see him after the meeting with Al, who is supportive and suggests Ade bring Ryan to register. Ryan is surprised when Hayley Wilkins (Dayna Bateman) comes to the house looking for Ade.
Ade brings Ryan to The Mill but Ryan refuses to speak to him until he explains his relationship with Hayley.
