As Sid finds himself in trouble with the Rapid Response Team, Emma and Jimmi worry about Rob.
A young female student turns to Al for help when she falls victim to bullying.
Sid wakes to a crashing hangover and a shift at the Rapid Response Unit.
Marie Scally, a first year student from Glasgow arrives in Al’s surgery complaining of anxiety and stress. After a tricky consultation he prescribes her some medication but on talking to Emma realises he didn’t have the whole picture in terms of her history.
He staggers to work and enjoys a bit of pre-shift banter with his manager Jenny before nipping out to phone Bear and chat about his chances with her. He comes off the call to find Jenny asking him to come to her office. She’s smelt booze on him – he can’t go out and tend to patients stinking like an old brewery.
Sid offers to take a breathalyser test.
