Vanessa continues to downplay their near kiss but Charity manages to find a glimmer of hope. Meanwhile, Mack mulls over Vanessa’s advice and resolves to prepare a grand gesture of commitment to win back Charity. However, Charity’s blindsided by Mack’s plan to move in with her as she struggles to banish Vanessa from her mind. When she’s unable to commit to living together, Mackenzie threatens to move back to Scotland. Later, Charity’s shocked to find that Mack really is leaving the village.
Billy’s affection for Lucas is obvious and he broaches the subject of adopting Lucas with a wary Dawn. Although Dawn’s thrilled by Billy’s commitment to her son, she’s nervous about the inevitable interaction with Lucas’ biological dad, Alex. But ignoring her concerns, she takes the first step in the adoption process and texts Alex.
Noah flirts with an over-enamoured Amelia for Chloe’s benefit but is left frustrated when Chloe turns her attention to Jacob instead.
