As the saying goes ‘It’s grim up north’, well that could well be true for life among the residents of Weatherfield as new filming pictures between Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) and a mob reveal even more violence ahead.
In our recent visit to Coronation Street it was revealed that the recently returned Spider was in fact an undercover police officer.
Newly released pictures of location filming show poor Peter end up on the wrong end of a confrontation with some heavies as he leaves a club. However, as one guy blocks his way Peter pushes him to the ground before it all kicks off and Spider steps in.
With Spider trying to infiltrate the threatening gang of violent protesters it remains to be scene if his cover will be rumbled.
Spider’s double life as an undercover police officer could cause problems closer to home when tonight (Wednesday September 14) Toyah (Georgia Taylor) confesses to Spider that she lied to the police, crashed the car on purpose and intended to kill Imran – wow. In court, Saira tells the court how she saw Toyah kissing Spider and suspects she was having an affair behind Imran’s back and killed him on purpose.
So much drama ahead!
Coronation Street airs hour-long episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV.
