In an unexpected turn of events on Coronation Street, Amy Barlow (played by Elle Mulvaney) is set to embark on a new journey as she joins forces with Aadi Alahan (played by Adam Hussain) at the corner shop. However, what starts as a simple working arrangement soon turns into Aadi discovering his feelings for Amy.
As Amy settles into her role at the corner shop, she finds herself bonding with Aadi over their shared responsibilities. The pair quickly establish a close friendship, with Aadi taking the opportunity to express his admiration for Amy’s recent volunteer work as a counsellor. It’s clear that he’s proud of her selflessness, and their connection begins to grow deeper.
Little do they know, a pair of keen observers, Nina Lucas (played by Mollie Gallagher) and Asha Alahan (played by Tanisha Gorey), are starting to put the pieces together. As they observe Aadi and Amy’s interactions, they notice the unmistakable signs of a blossoming crush. With this newfound knowledge, Nina and Asha find themselves in a delicate position.
