Sarah discovers her paternity test letter in Stephen’s flat, Amy accuses Courtney of toying with Aadi, Paul introduces Shelly to Billy, and Todd’s hope of a pay rise evaporates.
As Gail and Sarah sort through Stephen’s belongings at the flat, a shocking discovery sends Sarah’s emotions spiraling. Among the items, she stumbles upon her paternity test results. The revelation leaves her uneasy, and she struggles to keep her emotions in check.
Later, at Sarah’s scan, the sonographer delivers reassuring news about the baby’s health. However, things take an unexpected turn when she suggests a blood test to determine the baby’s gender. Both Gail and Adam dismiss the idea of testing for genetic diseases, confident that there are no illnesses in their family history. But Adam senses Sarah’s discomfort and begins to question whether she’s hiding something. Fearing the worst, Adam suffers another panic attack and decides he needs definitive confirmation of his paternity. He contacts the clinic, requesting written proof of the baby’s father.
Meanwhile, Dev’s suspicions about Courtney intensify, and he enlists Aadi’s help to find out the truth. Rumors of Courtney’s affair spread like wildfire, leaving Aadi squirming uncomfortably. However, Courtney surprises Aadi with a gift and asks him to meet her later, leading to a shocking discovery that could change everything. As Darren expresses gratitude to Aadi for looking after Courtney, Amy reaches her breaking point and confronts Courtney about her manipulative behavior.
Elsewhere, Summer and Paul discuss the wedding plans. Paul wishes for a church wedding to make Billy happy, but Billy reassures him that their love is what truly matters. Bernie’s presence at the meeting surprises everyone, especially when they learn about her advanced condition.
Back at the funeral home, George urges Todd to give his best shot at winning the Young Funeral Director of the Year award. But Todd’s motivation takes a hit when he discovers Eileen lied about a pay rise, leading to doubts about his award interview. Will Todd gather the strength to shine during the competition?
In a heartwarming moment, Ryan returns from Ireland and shares his plans for exercise equipment with Carla. Carla sees potential in him and suggests he make motivational videos, but Ryan doubts his appeal on-screen.
