Emotions run high in Emmerdale next week as Laurel and Jai’s plans to leave for India are thrown into jeopardy by a distraught Archie. As Colin locks her in Marshall’s bedroom, Laurel finds herself terrified and trapped without her phone. Her pleas for help go unanswered, leaving her to devise a desperate plan to break free from Colin’s grip. Meanwhile, Suni and Nicola grow increasingly worried about Laurel’s sudden disappearance. As the situation escalates, negotiations and prayers for Laurel’s safety take center stage. But Colin’s actions become more dangerous by the minute. In a shocking twist, Colin manipulates Laurel’s phone to send a message to Jai, implying that Laurel has relapsed. Jai, Nicola, and Suni are consumed with concern, and Arthur unknowingly reveals that Laurel was meant to pick up Marshall’s passport from Colin’s.
Inside the house, Colin’s instability takes a dangerous turn as he forces Laurel to unlock her phone. In a heart-pounding sequence, Laurel tries to escape when she manages to hit Colin over the head, hoping to dash for the door, but she finds herself locked in again. The suspense intensifies as a police officer arrives, raising hope for Laurel’s rescue. However, Colin’s cunning manipulation prolongs her harrowing ordeal.
