Lyrik’s gig at Salt has a big question mark over it following the copyright permissions being blocked on Kirby’s songs. Remi is the one to break the bad news to Eden that Kirby won’t be the only thing missing when they play that night, while Justin grovels to a less-than-understanding Mackenzie. When he proposes that the band will play covers that night, Mac cancels the gig. “You’re so unprofessional” she snipes at Justin. When Justin refers Mackenzie’s complaint to Forrest, Mac actually does pursue it, and gloats to Justin the next day that Forrest bought her out for the loss of income. She even has exclusive access to Kirby’s solo music when the time comes.

Already reeling from one round of bad news, Eden is thrown to discover Bree and Kirby’s house-swap arrangement. When Remi tells her it might make things easier since Justin has blocked them from speaking to Kirby, Eden’s on the warpath. Justin will not be dictating who she speaks to, she tells him. Kirby’s her friend, and that hasn’t changed. Justin counters that Eden’s attitude hasn’t helped the situation, and he’s just trying to do what’s best for the band. Remi offers a solution later – his parents can put them in touch with an entertainment lawyer.

Tane and Felicity prep for Tane’s self defence classes and Eden has promised she’ll be there. When the morning comes though, Bree, Mac and Felicity are all in attendance and Eden is nowhere to be seen. Felicity turns up at the share house to coax her friend out and is buoyed when Eden reluctantly agrees. Once they’re in the class however, Eden gets carried away venting her frustrations over Kirby and Lyrik, and accidentally punches Felicity in the face!
