Paul’s certain he’s found a chink in Reece’s armour, casually bringing up the fact she missed the Sinclair Summit in an effort to provoke her. But Reece easily explains that away, leaving Paul to hope his secret weapon Terese has more luck getting information out of his not-so-silent partner.
However, having been forewarned by Byron, Reece is fully prepared for the Terese charm offensive, and quickly makes it clear she’s not falling for it. While Leo suggests they’ve simply met their match, Paul refuses defeat. Finally, when Paul notes some lipstick on Byron’s collar after being in the elevator with Reece, a scan of CCTV footage gives him the dirt he needs – video of the pair kissing. As far as Paul’s concerned, it looks a lot like Reece has been enjoying Byron’s services…
An outraged Jane can’t believe Terese would do this to her. While Terese insists she never wanted to upset Jane, she refuses to withdraw her proposal, making the case for why a retirement community development is just as important as a school. While Susan quietly sees the merit in Terese’s plans, Jane remains ropeable, walking out on a lunch. It’s clear battle lines are being drawn.
