Coronation Street has pulled out all the stops for this Super Soap Week including bringing back the volume wall which previously featured in scenes during Kelly’s exit storyline which saw her kidnapped onto of a building.
‘Stephen is just so smarmy that Tim can spot him from a mile away. He’s like Corrie’s version of Travis Bickle, wanting to rid the streets from the dirt and the scum,’ says Tim Metcalfe actor, Joe Duttine.
Joe went on to explain that he loved doing the location scenes and how getting to chance to go out and use genuine locations adds a sense of reality to the them.
The Coronation Street cast has been praising Stephen Reid, actor Todd Boyce, with Joe saying, “He’s just got no ego, has he? He’s playing the main part, but he just turns up, gets on with it, and sits where he wants for his dinner. He was a real joy.”
Asked if viewers should be worried for Tim, Joe replied, “Yeah, I think so.”
