At Justin’s soft pitch for Theo at Salt, Forrest is impressed. He wants to hear Theo play, and tonight. Forrest comes back to the Morgan house for a beer, where Theo sings his and Kirby’s song ‘Someone Like You’ (with Forrest’s permission – of course!). Leah privately confides in Justin though – is it a good idea to have organised this without warning the remaining members of Lyrik?

When Remi and Bree run into Theo the next morning, Remi has little patience for his bandmate and winds up throwing a punch at Theo. “Walk away, Remi” is a horrified Bree’s advice. When she, Justin, and Leah fuss over Theo later, she admits the reason Remi may have hit Theo – they had seen him having dinner with Forrest. For Theo though, a split lip doesn’t negate opportunity, and Forrest swings by the Morgan house with news that delights Justin: He wants to sign Theo. For Bree however, witnessing Remi’s temper brings back bad memories of her abusive ex. “That’s not the man I want to be with” she tells a guilty Remi.

Later, Remi and Theo meet up so that Remi can apologise – he was way out of line. To Remi’s surprise, Theo is more than gracious – not only does he accept his bandmate’s apology, but he turned down the solo contract. It was Justin’s idea, anyway, and Theo still believes in Lyrik. Remi is overjoyed to hear this. When he’s alone with Bree later, he opens up about the altercation. He hates that he was that person to Theo, and he hates that he was that person in front of Bree. Can she move past it?

Mali has noticed that Rose didn’t get a lot of sleep, and she admits the truth – she still has Samuel on her mind. Mali encourages his girlfriend to act – she can’t keep going on like this, and Rose knows he’s right. She’s grateful for his support, but later tells Mali she doesn’t want to see Samuel. Instead, she’s written him a letter. If Samuel doesn’t want to see her, he can just ignore it. Later, it’s a big step for Rose when she drops off the letter at Samuel’s. And it seems it may have been the first of many when Rose received a phone call later on – “It’s Samuel”.
