Al is at home, his room is messy. His mother Eve is also at home, making tea. She accidentally knocks over a cup and falls down. When she tries to call for help, she realizes she can’t reach her emergency button. She manages to call Al, but he doesn’t answer. So she calls emergency services instead and speaks to the dispatcher, Harbinder Chabra. Due to Eve’s dementia, she struggles to explain what happened. Al eventually sees missed calls from his mother, but he still doesn’t call her back. He finally answers and Eve tells him about the accident. Al is shocked and worried, but he can’t bring himself to leave the house. He lies to his mother and calls their neighbor, Betty Powell, to go and help until the ambulance arrives. Betty is concerned about blood and asks when Al will be there. Al feels guilty as he lies and says his car has broken down.
Nina enlists the help of Suni & Rosie to help clear our Daniel’s consulting room, as she is taking it over. She tries to desk in every different position possible, only to end up having it back where it started.
