Grace is suffering from a lot of pain, and mum Sheena announces that she will pray for her. Sheena is furious when Grace announces that she’s going to The Mill to see a doctor about her pain. Sheen demands to sit in on Grace’s consultation with, resulting in Zara asking her to leave so she can talk to Grace without Sheena’s interruptions.
Grace explains to Zara that her mum has retreated into her faith since her dad left them. Things are very tense at home. On her way out, a furious Sheena accuses Zara of corrupting her daughter. Zara tells Sheena exactly what she thinks of her, in the middle of reception. Bear is not impressed and takes both women into his office while Rosie comforts a devasted Grace.
Back home, Grace tells Sheena that she’s had enough – she’s going to go and live with her dad.
