Pollard attempts to get David to move on but he is unable to get his mind off Victoria. He sets off on a mission to start repairing bridges. Having spent the night together, Jacob and Victoria are shocked when David arrives unannounced. After an awkward interaction, Victoria manages to get rid of David who’s left bemused at how things went down. Later, Jacob’s relieved to hear that David is accepting things with Victoria are over but once he leaves it’s clear that’s not actually the case.
Gail prepares to see Oscar ahead of the surgery but Ryan worries about meeting his son for the first time. At the hospital, Gail and Oscar get on a storm but an awkward Ryan hangs back feeling the odd one out. When the conversation turns to music, relieved Ryan finds a way in. Watching on, Sophie is conflicted about the bond that is starting to form. Back at the Woolpack, Marlon reminds Gail to tread carefully around Oscar’s adoptive mother. The importance of tomorrow starts to dawn on them.
