In this special episode focusing on Debbie’s Angels, Debbie arranges a get together for Abi, Bernie, Christina, Sally and Glenda to help with a surprise for Carl. Debbie empties a plastic crate onto the carpet to reveal hundreds of photographs taken over the years and explains that she needs their help to make a photo book for Carl’s 40th birthday.
But what starts as a fun bonding experience quickly descends into chaos as past tensions surface among the women. Amidst the heated confrontations regarding family history and past trauma, the group struggles to keep the celebration afloat.
While some find solace in confiding in one another about their own personal burdens, others face difficult decisions about their futures.
By the end of the evening the air is cleared, and the women unite to move forward, though several of them are left to navigate significant, life-altering choices in private.
