A guilty Sharon condemns Carol’s cruelty when she makes light of James’ condition in hospital. Hayley tells Anto that she wants to make things right with James when he wakes from sedation. Sharon worries when she learns that James will awake from sedation imminently.
Babs berates Victor for allowing Ruby to flog dodgy Halloween gear. Babs pleads with Jess to stay away from Steo. Jess refrains from visiting Steo in prison but Babs is concerned she still harbours feelings for him. Victor informs Babs he wants to support Ruby’s entrepreneurial flare. Jess is concerned when Greg receives a text from Steo asking to talk.
Pete is confident that his back is healed, but Erica, Doug, and Dolores are concerned about him babysitting Nora by himself. Pete’s injury flares up when he’s trick-or-treating with baby Nora. Dolores warns Pete not to increase his painkiller dosage without consulting his doctor. Pete secretly pops more painkillers to hide the severity of his back pain from Dolores.
