While trespassing in Gar’s place, Fergal makes a startling discovery. Melanie is freaked when Hughie hints he knows who stole his car. When Doug serves Pete some home truths, Pete lashes out at Dolores. Bob instantly regrets asking an over-worked Anna a favour.
In tonight’s Fair City episode, Melanie tries to glean more information about Hughie’s insurance claim investigation. Hughie refuses Zoe’s request for a pay rise. Melanie sits in to take notes on Joan’s meeting with Goo Eyes but is terrified he’s going to spill the beans. Goo Eyes enjoys the leverage he has over Melanie and blackmails her into lowering Joan’s fees. Melanie feels guilty when Hughie suspects Zoe is responsible for his car theft.
Dean encourages Gar to give Fergal another chance, despite Tommy and Dearbhla’s objections. On Fergal’s orders, Dean steals the keys to Gar’s flat. Fergal searches for the childhood photos Dean swore Gar had displayed. Dean and Fergal are surprised when they discover what Gar has. Dean panics when Gar returns home but he manages to cover.
Cass persuades Bob to bribe Anna for an appointment at the Medical Centre when he complains about a sore toe. Sick of the games, Anna erupts at Bob when he offers her a free lunch. Anna warns Bob, Cass, and Leo to stop trying to skip the queue. Doug informs Pete that he and Erica are sick of walking on eggshells around him due to his mood swings. Pete takes his pent-up frustration out on Dolores, accusing her of deliberately preventing him from getting a doctor’s appointment and of terrorising Erica at work.
A repentant Anna apologises to Cass, Leo and Bob but gets roped into a game of dominoes in the process. Pete apologises to Dolores for his outburst, but she voices her concern over his recent erratic behaviour. Gwen is horrified when she sees Anna spending her night with the old guys and rescues her.
