In a dramatic turn of events on Albert Square, Linda Carter finds herself nursing a hangover in The Vic before her day takes an unexpected turn with the return of Sharon Watts. As Linda struggles with the aftermath of a heavy night, tensions rise when Sharon reappears, sparking concern from Linda about potential fallout from their Christmas clash.

Upstairs, nerves are on edge as Linda fears Sharon’s wrath, particularly concerning a missing meat thermometer and Johnny’s knowledge of the truth about Christmas. Sharon, sensing trouble, calls for an urgent meeting to address the escalating situation.

However, the tension reaches new heights when Linda is stunned by the sudden appearance of the missing meat thermometer. Chaos erupts at The Vic as the implications of its discovery sink in. Relief washes over the women as they believe the murder weapon has been located, and Sharon reluctantly agrees to dispose of it. Little do they know, a disaster is lurking just beneath their feet.

As they breathe a sigh of relief, unaware of the impending danger, the floor in the café caves in….

Sharon finds herself face to face with her past as Phil Mitchell demands answers and access to their son, Albie.

Back at No.43, the drama unfolds even further as Sharon receives a text message that sends shockwaves through her world. The café floor has caved in, leaving Sharon reeling from the unexpected news. Amidst the chaos, Phil remains relentless, threatening legal action against Sharon if she doesn’t comply with his demands.

As the women of Albert Square anxiously await their fate, Sharon is forced to make a difficult decision. With emotions running high, Sharon agrees to grant Phil access to Albie, but not without a promise from him in return.

Later, Walford is rife with gossip as the residents speculate about the body found in the café. The police arrive at No.43 to inform Sharon about Keanu and re-question her on the events of Christmas..

The six worry about their freedom, before Suki intercepts Kathy with a new plan…
