The mum-of-quads has always battled to make ends meet, and it seems things are about to get even tougher. Strapped for cash, Gemma swipes some pricey trainers for her daughter, but it’s a dodgy dash for freedom that ends abruptly! Security’s on her tail, and Gemma’s nicking spree is short-lived. Will this be enough to land her in hot water?
These scenes are just the latest drama for Gemma after next week’s bombshell visit that sees her and Paul’s father Denny (Danny Cunningham) arriving in Weatherfield.
It’s also not the first bout of police trouble as Bernie spent Christmas – possibly Paul’s last – in prison over helping to sell stolen laptops.
