Bored to death at his new security job, Cash comes home to find Felicity laser-focused on her laptop. She tells him about her plans to become a foster parent, and he’s taken aback. He implores her to sleep on it, but the next morning, she’s not even close to changing her mind. That’s when Cash really confronts her with the big questions. Does she really want to take care of a baby, given that her strong feelings against kids was what ended her marriage with Tane in the first place?! Felicity pushes back, telling her brother that Tane was happier than Felicity has ever seen him with baby Maia, and she would do anything to keep it that way. Plus, she feels like she owes him for the pain she caused. Still, Cash tells her that fostering a baby isn’t going to save her marriage; she has to be doing this for the right reasons. He presses – what if it was another random baby? Would she take them on all the same? This stops Felicity dead in her tracks. She hates to admit it, but her brother is right – she couldn’t do it.

Remi is still healing from his injuries, but he limps out the door to an amazing surprise – his bike, fully repaired, and basically restored to brand new! He’s in no condition to get back on it just yet, but he’s overjoyed, and Kirby is stoked to see her bandmate so happy again. Bree, however, throws a spanner in the works as she sees Remi climb back on the very machine that almost cost him his life. She reminds him that there’s a reason why medics call motorcyclists “organ donors” – or worse, “roadkill”. Still, Remi pushes back: it’s the first time he’s ever come off his bike, and it wasn’t even his fault. This only makes Bree double down. She makes it very clear: if Remi gets back on that bike, they’re through. Who, or what, will Remi choose?
