JJ is hurt when Remi and Cara stand by their decision to protect him from Felix. He takes his anger out on the Rodwell punching bag and ends up revealing the extent of his pain to a sympathetic Andrew, who can see both sides of the argument. Acer Andrew delivers JJ home, the Varga-Murphy’s try to have a calm family meeting to share their sides of the ‘Felix’ argument. But when JJ realizes there’s no budging Remi and Cara – they do not want JJ to have any contact with Felix – he storms off, as upset as ever. They check in with Dex who admits he can see their side of the argument, but also JJ’s side and he challenges them to accept that Felix is going to be a part of their lives – whether they like it or not.
Krista is discharged from the hospital and determined to begin a new chapter, despite not being able to remember why she sought Chelsea out before her accident. She and Aaron make a pact to pull each other up when they’re crossing a line. And later, when she’s confronted by her ex-drug dealer, Krista attempts to put her foot down, only to need help from a passing Leo, who steps in to protect her and send Shannon packing. This time, she says yes, and Chelsea immediately puts a plan in motion for an engagement party. When Leo finds out, he confronts Paul for using Chelsea to get over Terese, but Paul denies this. Battling guilt over how she treated Haz, Holly steps up to try to find his family. When her internet search proves fruitless, she’s disappointed in herself, but some wise words from Byron help her push through her guilt and pass the matter on to the police. Mackenzie is grateful, and Byron and Holly stand by her, assuring Haz that until they find his family, they’re his family.
