Paddy describes how after Bear spent months held in captivity on Ray and Celia’s farm, being brutalised daily, it’s his worst nightmare that now his dad is locked up on remand. Desperate to free him, Paddy thinks it’s time he told the police the truth, even if it means implicating himself. Loyal Dylan won’t let him do this alone. Mandy’s heart breaks for their sacrifice. At the Police Station Front Desk, Mandy and Paddy share a last hug before he and Dylan go in to confess.
Cain although initially reticent makes the decision to move in with the Dingles. He doesn’t feel like celebrating but at the Woolpack they are all suspicious when Joe walks in, apologises to Lydia and offers her a pay rise.
The next day, suspicious Pollard tries to sniff out any hint of a romance between Kerry and Jai. He thinks he’s about to catch Jai and Kerry in flagrante in Caleb’s Office. But will he? Soon hearing from Billy that Kerry was ruing having to spend time with Jai at a work seminar, Pollard’s left feeling reassured. However after finding concrete evidence of Jai and Kerry’s dalliance at Pollards Barn, Pollard decides not to confront the pair. Kerry and Jai are dangerously unaware he now knows their secret.
