Get ready for some top notch singing! S4C is bringing The Voice to Wales, and it’s going to be epic. This Welsh language version, called Y Llais, will be gracing our screens in 2025.

But that’s not all! We’ve got a world-famous coach joining the panel. Welsh opera legend Sir Bryn Terfel will be one of the four coaches searching for Wales’ next singing superstar. This guy’s a big deal – he’s performed everywhere from the Coronation to opera houses around the world, and even has a Grammy to his name!
The Voice is known for its blind auditions, and that’s exactly what we’ll get here. Wannabe singers will battle it out to impress the coaches and land a spot on their team. The winner will not only get bragging rights but a sweet 12-month mentoring deal and a chance to perform on S4C.
So dust off your vocal chords, Wales! This is your chance to shine. The show will air on S4C, S4C Clic and even BBC iPlayer, so everyone can get in on the action. This is family-friendly fun you won’t want to miss!

BBC Radio 1’s Sian Eleri will be your guide through the show, promising “rotating chairs and next level excitement!”
S4C bosses are thrilled to be bringing the global smash hit to Wales. “We’ve produced some of the world’s best singers,” said Geraint Evans, “and this is our chance to find the next one!”
Think you’ve got the pipes? Applications close June 21st [www.s4c.cymru/yllais] with auditions in July across North and South Wales.
