Sienna Blake’s life is about to get a whole lot more complicated in Hollyoaks as she comes face-to-face with her long-lost relatives. According to the soap, Sienna will meet her grandmother and a shockingly familiar uncle.
Channel 4 has released a new image hinting at the upcoming drama. The picture cast members, Jeremy Sheffield and Sherrie Hewson, who are playing her long-lost grandmother and uncle. But the biggest twist is the uncle’s resemblance to a ghost from Sienna’s past.
Hollyoaks Executive Producer Hannah Cheers hinted at a dramatic future for Sienna, Dilly, Liberty and Maxine, saying: “With a family dynasty so rich in history, it should come as no surprise that there are still many secrets to be uncovered. But for Sienna, Dilly, Liberty and Maxine, what happens next is not what ANYONE could have expected.”
“To be a Blake, you must be clever, captivating and charming on the outside… and calculating, cold and cynical on the inside,” she teased.
Newcomer Sherrie Hewson, who will play Blake matriarch Martha, is loving her time on the soap. “It’s been a roller coaster joining Hollyoaks!” she gushed. “The character is just wonderful to play. Everyone is so lovely such a great atmosphere to work in and so welcoming. We laugh a lot what more could you ask for?”
The Blake dynasty promises heightened drama, hysterical situations and a whole host of secrets ready to be uncovered.
Sherrie and Jeremy first appear on Hollyoaks as Martha and Jeremy (Jez) in late May.
