As the Carters plan a Father’s Day celebration at The Vic, Linda is floored by the news that Keanu’s funeral is happening on the same day. Bernie asks to hold the wake at the pub, leaving Linda to drown her sorrows upstairs.
Sharon is horrified to discover Linda knew about the funeral from Johnny, and their attempts to sober her up are interrupted by a dramatic discovery – Linda is secretly intoxicated.
Desperate to help her friend, Sharon encourages Linda to attend an AA meeting. Ignoring Sharon’s advice, a troubled Linda speaks, leaving Sharon fearing for the worst.
As Linda struggles to cope, she offers to help Sharon break the news of Keanu’s death to Albie. Sharon, however, insists on doing it alone, and eventually confides in her son with support from Martin.
A touching gesture from Ollie sways Sharon’s decision, and she makes a difficult choice to attend Keanu’s funeral for Albie’s sake.
Meanwhile, back at The Arches, Kathy holds a private memorial for Sharon, offering her support during this emotional time.
Elsewhere, Denise opens up to Kim about her breakdown, but remains tight-lipped about the true cause.
