Billy Mitchell’s life is about to be rocked as a secret family he never knew about comes crashing into Walford this summer.

Stevie, Billy’s dad, arrives with a bombshell revelation: Teddy, his son from another relationship, is Billy’s half-brother. This means there’s a whole new branch of the Mitchell clan that neither Billy nor Phil Mitchell were aware of.
The arrival of Teddy (played by Roland Manookian, known for his roles in The Football Factory and RocknRolla) along with his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) is set to cause major drama.
“The arrival of Teddy, Harry and Barney will be a seismic shock for Billy and an unwelcome surprise for Phil,” says Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw. “With their arrival sparking more questions than answers, it’s not long before the Mitchells find themselves at war as Teddy and his sons are thrust into the heart of the drama.”

Manookian is thrilled to be joining the soap. “Being part of EastEnders is amazing! Coming in as a Mitchell means you’ve got big shoes to fill, but it’s a challenge I’m happy to accept.”
Look out for the Mitchell family dynamic to be shaken up as Teddy’s sons, Harry with his “charm and swagger” and Barney, the more “introverted” one, join the iconic Albert Square residents.
