EastEnders fans, get ready for a rollercoaster of emotions! This autumn, George Knight’s life will be turned upside down once again as he comes face-to-face with the brothers he has never met.
We already know George (Colin Salmon) has been struggling to come to terms with the truth about his past – the murder of his biological father Henry and the discovery of a whole new family. Now, things are about to get even more complicated with the arrival of his younger brothers, Kobina and Kojo Asare.
Brothers in Arms (or Maybe Not)
Prepare for tissues, folks, because the reunion promises to be a tearjerker. Enter Kobina (Jonathan Nyati) and Kojo (Dayo Koleosho), who will be introduced to George with the help of their mother’s friend Angela. But with George still reeling from shocking revelations, will he be ready to embrace these new family ties?
The Asare brothers are a unique duo. Kojo, George’s youngest sibling, is autistic, and the show has made a fantastic casting choice, bringing on board actor Dayo Koleosho, who is autistic himself. Meanwhile, Kobina, played by Jonathan Nyati, seems less ready to settle in Walford.

While there’s a chance for bonding, it seems the Asare brothers have different plans. Sources reveal that Kobina, overwhelmed by the situation, decides to return to Ghana. This leaves Kojo at a crossroads. But with George stepping up to offer support, could this be the start of a beautiful (and potentially complex) brotherly bond?
EastEnders Producer Chris Clenshaw Spills the Tea
EastEnders isn’t known for shying away from emotional storylines, and this one promises to deliver. “We’re thrilled to welcome Dayo and Jonathan to the show,” says Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw. “These brothers have a tragic past and a lot of baggage to unpack. When Kobina leaves, it throws a curveball, giving George the chance to step up as a big brother and caregiver to Kojo.”
Dayo Koleosho is Living the Dream
Newcomer Dayo Koleosho couldn’t be more excited to join the cast. “It’s been incredible,” he enthuses. “This storyline is amazing, and I’m loving working with everyone. It’s a dream come true!”
Jonathan Nyati is Ready to Take Walford by Storm
Joining the iconic soap is a big deal for Jonathan Nyati too. “Growing up watching EastEnders religiously, this is a huge honour,” he admits. “I can’t wait for viewers to meet Kobina and Kojo as they navigate life in Albert Square.”

Mark your calendars, EastEnders fans – the Asare brothers are coming, and they’re sure to shake things up in Walford! EastEnders continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on BBC One
