The residents of Albert Square are still basking in the afterglow of a weekend filled with vibrant carnival celebrations, but the joy is set to be short-lived as tragedy looms on the horizon next week.

Penny’s excitement for her club night at Peggy’s quickly turns to panic when she realizes she’s woefully underprepared. In a last-ditch effort to fill the venue, she’s spotted trying to flog last-minute tickets outside The Vic. Little does she know that disaster is about to strike.

Inside Peggy’s, tension simmers as Chelsea and Penny have a frosty exchange. Unbeknownst to Penny, Chelsea is already plotting to sabotage the night. In a moment of sheer spite, Chelsea tampers with the booking system, making even more tickets available online despite the venue already nearing full capacity. An oblivious Penny continues her desperate attempt to bring in more customers, blissfully unaware of the chaos that’s about to ensue.

As the night progresses, Peggy’s becomes dangerously overcrowded, and the atmosphere shifts from excitement to alarm. The situation spirals out of control, leading to a terrifying crush that threatens the safety of everyone inside.

Meanwhile, the drama isn’t confined to the dancefloor. Junior, who’s been growing closer to Cindy, invites her to join him at Peggy’s. But their affair is on the brink of being exposed when Ian arrives unexpectedly. The pair are forced to hide in the office, where passion takes over, oblivious to the disaster unfolding just a few feet away.

Back at The Vic, Kim drops a bombshell on Jack, revealing that Denise has started finalizing their divorce proceedings. The tension only escalates as Avani convinces Amy and Nugget to gatecrash the carnival party at Peggy’s, adding more fuel to the fire.

As the chaos reaches its peak, Jack rushes to Peggy’s, only to be greeted by a scene of utter devastation. The aftermath of the crush leaves him distraught, with lives hanging in the balance.

But the drama doesn’t end there. A guilt-ridden Chelsea is left on edge as the police start questioning her about her involvement in the night’s events. Will her reckless actions be uncovered, and what will the consequences be for those caught in the crossfire?
