Monday 30th September 2024
- Having received a voice message from Joel, Dee-Dee plays it to Lisa who reckons it could be a suicide note. Through Joel’s phone signal, Kit pinpoints his last whereabouts and finds his car parked on a bridge with a folded note on the dashboard. Lisa breaks the news that they are now looking for Joel’s body. Has Joel really taken his own life?
- Following Fiz’s ruined birthday celebrations, Tyrone is planning a romantic dinner to make up for it. After experiencing dizziness at work a worried Fiz books in for a doctor’s appointment.
- With no agreements so far on Paul’s funeral, Billy suggests to Bernie they choose the flowers together, resulting in another argument. Bernie tells Dev that she might not be able to give Paul the funeral she would have liked, but she’ll find a fitting place to bury his ashes. What does Bernie have planned?
- Stu is taken aback to find Mason already at work who explains he spent the night in the restaurant to avoid another beating from his brothers. Having been in a similar situation, will Stu be able to help Mason?
- Unable to access her voicemail from Turkey and waiting for news from a loan company, Sarah asks Adam to check them. As Adam listens, he’s shocked to come across one from Damon.





Wednesday 2nd October 2024
- An emotional Billy prepares for the funeral on what would have been his and Paul’s first wedding anniversary. He is horrified at the church to find a drunken Denny skulking in the shadows and orders him to behave and keep out of sight. As Todd, Summer, Kit, David, Chesney and Dee-Dee carry Paul’s coffin down the aisle with Bernie and Gemma following behind. Billy steps forward to conduct the service. Will everything go to plan?
- At No.9, Tyrone explains to the girls that Fiz isn’t feeling well. But his concerns about Fiz are put to one side when he picks up Hope’s pencil case and a vape falls out. Tyrone and Fiz are stunned when a cocky Hope reveals she stole it from the corner shop.
- In the Turkish hospital the CEO of the cosmetic surgery company approaches Sarah and explains that they’d like to pay for her hotel accommodation. When Sarah demands they should be paying the medical bills the CEO hands her Bethany’s consent form. When David tells Audrey how the cosmetic surgery company is refusing to pay Bethany’s medical bills, Audrey reckons they should go online and spread the word about what the company is really like.
- ELSEWHERE In the café, Dee-Dee confides in Kit that she phoned the wedding venue and the holiday company and it would seem Joel has already recouped their deposits.












Friday 4th October 2024
- As the finishing touches are put to Paul’s memorial rave on the street with bunting and glow sticks, Bernie asks Todd to bring Paul’s ashes so she can give him the best spot on the dance floor. A hungover Billy is shocked when he goes to the undertakers for Paul’s ashes only to discover Bernie already has them, how will he feel? Bernie thanks the party goers for giving Paul a night to remember and reveals her plans to send his ashes into space.
- When Gail suggests she could sell the house to raise the money for Bethany’s medical bills, David’s horrified, pointing out they’d be homeless. When Daniel reveals his plan to use some of Bertie’s trust fund money to help Bethany, Ken urges him to think again.
- Ryan calls at the factory with an official looking letter. Carla reads it and her face falls. In the café, Ryan confides in Lisa that Carla’s stressed about her plea hearing but Lisa wonders if it is more than that. What has upset Carla?
- ELSEWHERE Dee Dee confronts Joel’s dad at the police station and suggests his son has gone on the run. Lis is forced to step in and tells Dee Dee to accept Joel is dead. In the Rovers, Kirk holds a meeting of the Singles Club and discusses movies with Izzy.
