Hollyoaks airs at 7pm on E4
Fans of Hollyoaks have reason to celebrate as Danny Mac is back on set a decade after Dodger’s heroic exit. Once labelled Soap’s Unluckiest Man, Mark Savage left in 2015 after taking the blame for his villainous brother Will’s murder to protect his daughter, Nico. But Dodger’s comeback promises to stir up trouble in classic Blake family fashion.
Danny Mac, returning to film with former co-stars Anna Passey, Nikki Sanderson, and Jeremy Sheffield, says he’s eager to revisit the character that became a fan-favourite: “After a decade away, I’m thrilled to be returning and reuniting with my incredible co-stars, old friends, and a character very close to my heart. Dodger escaped, leaving a great deal behind. I’ve always wondered who he might have become in the 10 years since he ran away.” But with grandmother Martha (played by Sherrie Hewson) also returning, and Jez’s long-lost son arriving, the Blake family’s secrets are about to spiral even further. “Now that he’s back,” Mac hints, “there’s a lot to uncover.”

Coronation Street delivers another twist tonight as DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is thrust into the spotlight.
The search for Joel Deering’s killer intensifies with flashbacks revealing Lisa chased someone through the precinct on the night of Joel’s death.
While DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) leads the investigation, Swain’s determination to stay involved raises suspicions.
Is Lisa trying to cover her own tracks or was someone else responsible for killing Joel?

Coronation Street continues Wednesday at 8pm on ITV1
