The mystery surrounding Joel Deering’s brutal murder on Coronation Street is finally coming to a dramatic head, with all eyes on the suspects as the big reveal looms on November 15th.

In a gripping promo teasing what’s to come, fans are given a first glimpse of the fateful night in flashbacks that show a battered Joel on the railway tracks, fighting for his life. With tensions mounting, it’s clear this will be one of the most intense moments in the soap’s history.

As the truth inches closer, ITV Studios has released a stylized promo titled Joel’s Final Chapter, inviting viewers to comb through the clues and play detective as Coronation Street’s biggest whodunit ever nears its shocking conclusion.

As a special treat for die-hard viewers, ITVX will host a live special immediately after the action-packed episode. Hosted by soap expert Sharon Marshall, the live broadcast will feature exclusive cast interviews and first reactions to the killer’s identity, all live from the cobbles.

Ahead of the big reveal, the suspect list has narrowed, and the Weatherfield police are under mounting pressure to close the case. Among those under the microscope are Joel’s vengeful ex, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown), her family members Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) and Ronnie (Vinta Morgan), troubled teen Mason (Luca Toolan), and disgraced detective DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), who was removed from the case after Joel’s involvement with her daughter came to light. Even the investigator himself, DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), has not escaped suspicion.

In another twist, Monday’s episode will see Carla (Alison King) in a surprising flashback scene, this time showing her calling out to Max (Paddy Bever) and Lauren (Cait Fitton) on the night of September 27th. What were they doing outside the factory that night, and could they be involved in Joel’s murder?
