Set in the fictional village of Glanrafon, Rownd a Rownd has become a cornerstone of Welsh television. Now, Rondo Media is extending its legacy with a four-month programme designed to inspire and refine the skills of emerging writers. The course will include masterclasses by industry experts, one-on-one mentoring, pitching workshops, and insights into the business side of the Welsh TV industry.

Bedwyr Rees of Rondo Media said: ‘Rownd a Rownd is a series that has been central to nurturing talents in front of, and behind the camera, throughout the years. As we mark this milestone, we are keen to give the next generation of writers the opportunity to further develop their craft.’

Gwenllian Gravelle, S4C’s Head of Film and Drama, added: ‘As a broadcaster, we are passionate about nurturing talent, and these initiatives are a testament to that commitment. Investing in the next generation of television talent is essential to securing a vibrant future for drama on S4C.’
