Neighbours airs Monday – Thursday at 7am on Prime Video
In an exclusive chat with Eastieoaks.com, Rebekah Elmaloglou opens up about the bombshell storyline, revealing how her character is coping with the latest twist in her rollercoaster relationship with Paul.
‘It’s absolutely crazy; Therese and Paul have only just come back together, they’re making this fresh start, moving in together, and then boom, this brand new child appears out of nowhere. It’s such a shock for everyone involved.
For Therese, there’s definitely a part of her that wants to be supportive, especially after David’s death. She’s prepared to try to work through it and be there for Paul. ‘And it’s not just a claim; a DNA test confirms that the child is, indeed, Paul’s.

But of course, in classic Neighbours fashion, there’s more to the story, and it’s got everything to do with Chelsea. ‘Chelsea’s the issue; Therese doesn’t trust her one bit. Rightfully so!’
So how much can Therese trust Paul when Chelsea’s involved?
‘She likes to think she does, and honestly, for the most part, she does trust Paul. But Chelsea just keeps pushing and pushing… and it reaches a stage where Therese has to step in.’
‘As much as Therese tries to deny it, it’s really hard for her to keep walking in and seeing the three of them – Paul, Chelsea, and this child they now share. She can’t help but feel left out, on the outer. And who wouldn’t?’
With Chelsea’s presence stirring up trouble, it’s safe to say there’s plenty more drama to come.
