Aaron’s relieved when there seems to be a thaw with Colton and Rhett. But things escalate when Colton makes it clear he still wants to be more than friends. Later, out for an afternoon with Isla, Aaron bumps into Rhett and his daughter, Tilly, also on a playdate. It’s clear there’s the potential for a real connection between Aaron and Rhett, leaving him more conflicted than ever. Later, Rhett appears at Aaron’s house with an ultimatum that will force him to choose once and for all where his heart lies.
Nicolette reels in pain and fury after the mishap at the day spa. Sadie’s dismayed and deeply apologetic. She faces consequences at work but remains baffled by how the accident occurred-oblivious to Saskia’s meddling. Meanwhile, as Byron returns home from hospital, Saskia goes to great lengths to assuage his fear that she’s obsessed with him, setting up a date with a smitten Dex. But when Byron and Sadie have a thaw after her work drama, Saskia’s left disgruntled that she’s failed to drive a wedge between them.
Susan remains deeply concerned that Karl’s refusing to properly deal with what he went through with Darcy and refuses to even contemplate reconsidering his return to Eirini Rising. Instead, he latches onto a plan for a new promo at the Tram. Susan feels she has no choice but to support and humour him, but her worry is growing.
