Meanwhile, Maria calls at the station and reports Gary missing, Dee-Dee masks her guilt as she collects Laila from James, and Carla does her best to convince Lisa that therapy can help.

Maria resolves to identify who put Gary in hospital, and his attacker tries to cover their tracks. Kevin makes out to Debbie and Tyrone that his cancer was unresponsive and he has to have further chemo. Meanwhile, Dee-Dee is charmed by a stranger in the Rovers, and Lauren worries about Aadi’s motives.
