Robert tries to glean information about John saving Jacob’s life, but Jacob rushes off. Robert’s mind is whirring as Pollard recounts stories of all the villagers John’s saved.
Robert remains undeterred after voicing his opinion that John is too good to be true to Chas, who was having none of it.
When Robert notices John has left his phone on a nearby table at the cafe, he tries to unlock it but when John arrives, he hands over the phone, leaving John worried. John voices his concerns about Robert to Chas, who thinks Robert’s just jealous.
Victoria tries to persuade Robert to get some help but when he refuses, John agrees to ask Liam to check in on him. John sneaks into Keepers and secretly leaves a small listening device.
After listening into one of Robert’s conversations, John is buoyed to finally have some dirt on his brother. What has John heard?
