Aaron hears Robert smashing up his room and intervenes. He’s shocked to find Robert completely broken and comforts him. As Robert accepts he’s lost everything, Aaron admits he has been pushing Robert away due to his own unresolved feelings. This leads to them giving in to their mutual desire.
Mackenzie is keen to spend some time with Charity but she is seemingly busy and distracted so Mackenzie takes himself off to the pub. Soon Ross is quizzing and slightly taunting Mackenzie over the surrogacy situation.
Dylan forces a brave face to April after another knock back in his job search. After April exits, Dylan’s torn to see his phone ringing with a call from Ray offering easy money. April’s left bored and disappointed as her apprenticeship at Take A Vow is delayed. April’s buoyed by Dylan’s positive reaction to her plan to go back to school and get her GCSE’s. Soon, after Ray manipulates him into another job, Dylan buries his guilt over lying to April.
Cain’s left worried when DC Cole wants to talk about the investigation into Nate’s murder. John’s about to check on Robert when Cain announces new evidence has come to light in the investigation into Nate’s murder; alarmed John heads off to get his head round this development.
