Aaron’s fighting his guilt, he has decided it was a one off – a mistake but Robert believes he’s chosen him over John and Aaron is left in turmoil by Robert’s insistence that they’re destined to be together. John’s stressed by the police developments as at the surgery, police tell Liam Nate’s murder investigation is reopened due to an inconsistency with Owen’s supposed suicide note leaving John in a panic and seeing a grieving Tracy at the case being reopened adds to John’s guilt. Mack is annoyed when his mate Aaron confides in the kiss on the wedding day and tells him about last night.
Meanwhile a shaky John is struggling to hold it all together and with Aaron keen to get them both away for a fresh start Aaron suggests they could leave the village is his only option. John’s surprised but it’s music ot his ears under the guilt over the Nate investigation hotting up. Chas is visibly upset to hear of their plans to go as Liam agrees to John taking some holiday leave. With plans made, we hear and with John increasingly fearful the murder investigation will implicate him, John makes a chilling phone call…
Mack can’t hide his hurt that Charity hasn’t contacted him after kicking him out.
Cain and Tracy’s grief over Nate has been re-awakened by the police asking fresh questions about his murder.
Kammy’s awkward when Cain sends him to go and fix Belle’s car but is later delighted when Belle suggests they try again with another lunch date.
As Gabby continues to try to persuade him to report Kammy to the police, Vinny’s tormented by his guilt over his Later, when Gabby’s disappointed that the re-sized rings aren’t the ones she chose, Vinny tells Gabby he lost the originals.
Moira’s confident Celia’s got everything in hand with their big new contract. Dawn’s unimpressed by Joe’s determination to make Moira’s land part of Kim’s empire by any means necessary. Moira’s devastated when Celia reveals their new contract has fallen through leaving them seriously out of pocket. Moira’s at her wits’ end when the hotel offers her and Celia only half of the money they’re owed. Moira thinks this is the end for her and farming.
