So how do you mark a milestone birthday in Soapland? For their 50th last year, Pobol y Cwm blew up the Deri Arms, and for EastEnders‘ 40th back in February, the show went live as well as blew up The Queen Vic.

Fast forward 7 months, and it’s off to Glanrafon, where the locals of S4C’s soap Rownd a Rownd are celebrating 30 years. The show is promising surprises, some good and some not so good for other people.

Trystan’s birthday has finally arrived, and Rhys has a special surprise planned for him. Meanwhile, Philip tries his best to reconcile with Lowri, while Dani does her best to carry on with her life following Britney’s lies.

If you haven’t had your fill for the trend of ‘flash-forwards’ in soap lately, then you are sure to love this, as the show has revealed ‘there will be flash-forwards to a major event that shakes Glanrafon to its core.’

While exact details are being kept under wraps about who or what is to come there is sure to be just as much drama as viewers have come to know and love.
