Andrew uses surveillance of the Linwell warehouse as an excuse to have a clandestine meeting with Holly at the motel, where they start to make plans for their future. Andrew suggests somewhere by the peninsula as a possible location for them to live to be closer to Stephen and Gretchen. Desperate to get the ball rolling on this new life, Holly devises a plan and organises a last-minute art class at the Waterhole. She asks Wendy to teach it, under the guise that the class has been booked for a while and the teacher only just dropped out. Wendy agrees, but little does she know that it’s all a set-up for Wendy to meet Trent, a pub regular who is unlucky in love and keen to meet some eligible women. The art class is a bit of a failure, and Trent isn’t so keen on Wendy, knowing she’s married to a cop. Andrew isn’t happy with Holly’s ruse, but she explains that if Wendy has someone to lean on, then it’ll be easier for Andrew to move on himself. It’s only because she wants to kick-start their new life together, as soon as possible
Sadie’s disheartened by Holly’s persistent brush-offs, and in an attempt to cheer up both her and Max, Taye, who’s on a skincare kick, proposes making some face masks of their own. Who knows? This could be the start of a new empire! A reluctant Max takes part, but can’t cope when Sadie and Taye get into a lovey-dovey play fight and makes a hasty exit. Feeling terrible, Sadie and Taye apologise to Max, who wishes he could find a way to get over Holly… Sadie, meanwhile, confronts Holly and demands to know why she’s being so distant… just because she’s broken up with Max doesn’t mean they have to end their friendship, too, does it? Holly, whose head is now filled with dreams of moving away with Andrew, tells Sadie it’s obvious she’s taken Max’s side, which means it’s too difficult to remain friends. Sadie’s devastated when Holly says she thinks it’s better if they stay out of each other’s lives from now on.
