Trust issues continue to be a theme in Coronation Street next week as Carla reveals she’s sold the Rovers to someone called Ben but admits to having second thoughts about her trip to Ireland as she doesn’t like to leave her alone with Becky. Lisa questions Carla’s trust in her. Lisa assures Carla that she loves her and has no interest in Becky.
It remains to be seen if Carla heads to Ireland, but further spoilers for the week reveal Betsy persuading Becky to model some of her designs for a college project.
Lisa can’t help but smile as Becky struts around the lounge. When Lisa joins in, an amused Betsy records the spectacle, uploading it to her socials. Becky’s thrown into a panic and points out that people might recognize her.
There is more trouble for Lisa when Kit drops the news that Betsy’s been arrested.
Alone in a police cell, a tired and confused Betsy sits and waits. Lisa, who by this point has had enough, rails at Becky and tells her that Betsy’s been struggling ever since she showed up.
Betsy’s ‘crimes’ come to light when an officer interviews her. According to DI Costello, she damaged a police car, resisted arrest, and then tried to attack him. Betsy refuses to comment. Costello meets up with Becky and spells out that she needs to disappear again or it will be worse for Betsy.
