Eva’s back – and she’s not alone. Meet the Driscoll family coming to Coronation Street. For the first time since 2018, Eva is back behind the bar of the nation’s favourite pub.
Joining Eva are Shameless stars Aaron McCusker as Ben Driscoll and Ben’s mum, Maggie, played by Pauline McLynn.
Ben surprises Eva by revealing he has bought the Rovers Return and tells her she is the new landlady.
As the trailer shows, they waste no time settling into the pub and welcoming all the regulars with a huge opening party, but the arrival of Maggie brings some shocking news for Eva. She will be reunited with her sisters Leanne and Toyah, as well as catching up with her old friends and neighbors. But what has she been up to since she left Weatherfield, and how will this new clan fit into the drama on the Street?
Also joining the Price/Driscoll family is Eva’s daughter Susie (Aurora Bradshaw) and Ben’s two sons Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) and Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike).
Whilst Ollie has already established himself on the street and grown close to Dee Dee, he has yet to reveal his family are planning to move into the area.
Expect plenty of drama with Eva actress Catherine Tyldesley telling Mirror, “There are so many twists and turns with the Driscolls. The mother-in-law from hell feels like a harsh title, but I don’t think I am far off.”

CBBC viewers might recognise Lucas Hodgson-Wale from his role in the series High Hoops which stars former Corrie star Frankie-Jae Simmonds who played Faye’s daughter Miley Hodge in 2023.

As Ben and Eva demand an explanation, Will claims he wants to stay in Hull with his mates. Citing the love note and Will’s attempt to steal his passport, Ben reckons there’s more to it. What is Will hiding? […]
