Rownd a Rownd tonight brought emotional scenes with not a dry eye in the house or hospital as Kelvin passed away following his tragic accident with Terry a couple of weeks ago.
Kevin, who has played the role of Kelvin Walsh since 1999, revealed to Eastieoaks.com: ‘I’ve really enjoyed all my years at Rownd a Rownd, and I will miss all my colleagues and the friends I made along the way.’
These tragic scenes play out during what is proving a quite dramatic period for the show, which has also recently seen attempted murder and a car crash during the milestone 30th birthday celebrations.

During his time in the series, Kelvin has had a number of storylines, such as going to prison for 18 months in 2017 after unknowingly smuggling drugs. More recently married to Mel, he became a dad again earlier this year to Kynan.

Kevin teased the impact that will have going forward, saying: ‘The real story comes afterwards, in the long-lasting effect Kelvin’s departure will have on all the other characters – Mel, Kay, Ken, and Terry especially. I’m sure Kelvin will be sorely missed.’
‘I had a great 27 years at Rownd a Rownd. I was there throughout my childhood and have spent most of my life acting the part of Kelvin’.
Staying a fan, Kevin admits, ‘I look forward to continuing to watch Rownd a Rownd without knowing what any of the stories will be.’
