We know Sally is a people pleaser, but an attempt to bring some festive cheer backfires.
Sally and Tim pull out all the stops for Joanie, laying on a festive spread when she invites friends over for a Christmas gathering. But tensions soon rise when a promise to arrange a Christmas Day visit with the girls’ mum, leaves Tim worried their hopes are being raised too high.
Things take another turn when Joanie and Shanice are caught trying to swipe a bottle of prosecco from the corner shop. Later, Sally and Tim treat the girls to a festive breakfast, but Joanie’s excitement quickly sours. After being banned from a party with an older girl, Joanie lashes out during Fiz’s visit, insisting Sally will never replace her mum before knocking over the Christmas tree.
