The end was just the beginning as secrets and lies refuse to stay buried in Weatherfield following the explosive Corriedale crash.

The aftermath of Corriedale continues to linger, and while the wreck of cars may be swept away, the same can’t be said for the trail of devastation it left behind.

Lisa may have had her life saved by ex fiance Carla but the havoc wrecked by her evil back from the dead wife Becky, means Lisa is still fighting to win back the love of her life. Having sent a note to Carla, begging her to hear her out, can Lisa rekindle the flames of their relationship or is it too little too late for Carla?

Elsewhere, we’ve had the arrival of the mystery Jodie who was first seen running through the woods that fateful night, wrists bound, having escaped her captor. The big question here is what secrets is Jodie hiding and what does she suddenly want from Shona?

And a vulnerable Debbie, having taken the rap for Carl who was driving that night, prepares to learn her fate after being charged with causing death by driving under the influence. Kevin knows she’s lying and it was Carl in the driving seat but with Debbie covering for Carl, now revealed to viewers as her son and not her brother, it looks like Debbie’s fate may be sealed with a prison sentence. How long can her lie stay hidden?

It’s goodbye to Billy next week and Theo’s battling to bury his guilt, pushed to breaking point by the knowledge that he took a man’s life. Haunted by his conscience, we see Theo at Billy’s coffin, expressing how sorry he is for leaving him to die. But when a door slams a horrified Theo races out. Who has heard his confession?
