Panic sets in at the hospital when Dr Todd’s father goes into cardiac arrest. With no one else around, Jacob leaps into action, giving him CPR despite him being marked as DNR. Jacob is terrified when Dr Todd orders him to follow her after relaying her fury at him performing CPR on her father. Jacob is left humiliated and horrified when Dr Todd orders him to go home after he snaps at her.
Following his embarrassment, teary eyed Jacob is furious with himself as he leaves the hospital Kerry starts to suspect there’s more to the pressure Jacob’s putting on himself than meets the eye.
Overhearing Todd having another go at Jacob at the hospital later, Kerry heads over for a word. When she makes it clear that Todd has met her match.
As Kerry lays into Dr Todd, Todd turns the tables back on her, reeling off all the mistakes Jacob has made. As Todd heads off, Kerry is left hoping she hasn’t made things a lot worse.
