Home and Away airs on 5STAR at 6:30pm

Off the back of Eden’s arrest, David takes her to the station for questioning. David pushes for answers on Cash’s whereabouts, but Eden remains adamant – she doesn’t know. She then makes it clear that if David isn’t going to charge her, she’s leaving, and she does.

Lacey is shocked to find out Jo has gone on the run, and David is forced to give her more bad news: the DPP want to interview Lacey tomorrow as they have decided to prosecute her for Holden’s death. Lacey is gutted.

Back in Western Australia, Tane farewells Brax, having decided to return to Summer Bay with Cash and Jo in the hope of clearing his name. Inspired by Tane’s actions, Brax makes a decision to trust Cash, explaining he was already on the run from prison when someone claimed responsibility for the murder of which he was wrongly convicted, and he never cleared his name through official channels. Having long wondered if he still needs to be looking over his shoulder (i.e., if his case is still active and he’s still a wanted man), Brax asks Cash to check the status. Cash agrees to do so, indicating he will update Brax when he knows more. The next day, Ricky forgives Brax for bringing Tane (and a cop!) into their lives, while Brax fishes for Ricky’s true feelings about the life they currently live… in hiding. Brax wonders if Casey deserves a more normal life, but Ricky seems content with the way things are. After all, Casey doesn’t know any different.

Arriving back in the Bay, Tane and Jo plead with Cash to give them some more time together before Cash takes Tane to the station. Cash agrees, which allows Tane and Jo to share one last romantic moment. Lying in bed afterwards, the pair savour the moment, with Tane telling Jo he loves her. Meanwhile, Eden fills Cash in about being arrested by David, including David’s warning that Cash’s stunt may cost him his career.

Having been asked by David, Leah shows up at the station to support a nervous Lacey through her interview with the DPP official. But before the interview commences, David has a private word with the official, explaining he is sick of having his hands tied while watching the system fail women time and time again. David then makes things very clear: if the DPP move forward with prosecuting Lacey, he will be resigning, and he will not go quietly. Off the back of this, the official tells Lacey that they have reviewed her case, and the DPP will not be prosecuting. Lacey is free to go.

Having said a sad farewell to Jo, Tane is brought to the station by Cash. David is furious, wanting to know where they’ve been, but Tane exercises his right to remain silent until he has a lawyer present. Unfortunately for Cash, he doesn’t have the same rights, and is immediately hauled into David’s office. Here, David wants answers… NOW!

Returning home, Lacey is reunited with Jo, who is deeply upset and regretting her decisions. The man she loves is going to spend years in prison for something he didn’t do, and she was the one who convinced him to come home. What has she done?!
