It’s tense in the Beale household when Ian’s lawyer advises that he pleads guilty at his upcoming plea hearing. Peter and Lauren encourage Ian to listen to advice, but Kathy later insists he should plead innocent. Ian heads to Peacock Palace to see Elaine for advice. Ian tries to speak to Chelsea to ask her to change her statement, but Denise tells him to leave and shares some harsh words. Realising he is out of options, heartbroken Ian tells his family of his decision.
Phil is shocked to discover that Sharon is selling her half of the Boxing Den, but Max takes no time in pitching to buy it.
Meanwhile, in The Vic, Sharon confronts Zoe about her previous lies, but Jasmine and Josh soon step in to vouch for their mum. Later, Zoe attempts to apologise to Sharon and Zack, but it’s clear Sharon is in no mood for forgiveness.
The Fox-Truemans prepare to welcome Denise home, but unbeknownst to them all, Denise has been told that she hasn’t responded to the treatment as they had hoped, and they’ll need to try again. Elsewhere, Priya continues to play with fire as she tries to seduce Max.
